All environmental models were created off of concept art. Models, texturing, and rendering completed by Joshua. He worked with on and off with the art director to create the models, but was mostly left to his own way to interpret the concept as necessary.
Over 20 castles were created off of very loose and very few pieces concept art that needed to "level-up" as the player progressed through the game. Much detail was included to achieve an interesting, stylized look for the player.
